Mushroom Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 stick butter
2 1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
1/4 c. Wondra flour
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cream
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter over low heat in a frying pan.
Add mushrooms. Cover and saute 3 to 4 minutes.
Sprinkle flour over butter-mushroom mixture, stirring thoroughly to blend.
Add milk slowly.
Continue to stir.
Then add cream and salt and raise heat slighlty.
Cook until thickened, stirring to keep smooth.
Good to serve over meats, chicken or fish.
