Banana Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 c. flour
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. shortening
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs, beaten
    2 c. mashed bananas
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together.
    Cream shortening until fluffy.
    Add sugar gradually, beating until light.
    Add beaten eggs and whip into the mixture. Add flour mixture and bananas alternately, beating smooth after each addition.
    Turn into greased and floured 9-inch loaf pans.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 70 minutes.
    Makes 2 loaves.
