Congealed Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. lemon jello
    1 1/2 c. hot water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 (15 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 c. chopped green onions
    1 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in hot water. Add sugar. Mix and let cool. Add cheese, pecans, pineapple and chopped nuts. Pour into 9 x 13-inch Pyrex and allow to set. Mix bell pepper, green onions and mayonnaise. Spread on top of congealed mixture.
