Chocolate Chip Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. margarine (1 stick)
2 eggs
2 c. applesauce
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. cocoa

Preparation

Cream the sugar, margarine and eggs together.
Add applesauce and vanilla; mix well.
Add dry ingredients.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle with topping.
