Squash Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3 c. grated yellow squash
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. red pepper
    1 tsp. sugar
    3/4 c. milk
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Combine first six ingredients.
    Beat until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients and stir well.
    Drop mixture by tablespoon into a hot greased skillet.
    Cook until golden brown.
    Drain on paper towels.
    Yields about two dozen.
