Classic Walnut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1 c. light or dark syrup
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell
    1 1/2 c. large pieces walnuts
Preparation
    Heat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine eggs, sugar, flour, syrup, butter and vanilla.
    Blend well.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Sprinkle walnuts on top.
    Bake on lower shelf of oven at 400\u00b0 for 15 minutes. Reduce to 350\u00b0 and bake 35 to 40 minutes.
    Cool before serving.
