Creole Shrimp Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. jumbo shrimp, cleaned and deveined
1 can condensed chicken gumbo soup
1 can whole tomatoes
1 jar sliced pimentos, drained
3 small onions, cut into quarters
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 c. water
1/4 c. uncooked rice
1 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. basil
dash of pepper sauce
Preparation

Heat all ingredients to boiling; reduce heat.
Cover and simmer until shrimp are tender and rice is cooked, about 20 to 25 minutes. Garnish with parsley.
Makes 8 servings.
