Bacon In Batter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    bacon slices
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    dash of salt
    1 pinch baking powder
Preparation
    Fry bacon, cut in fairly thick slices, until brown but not crisp. Drain from fat, leaving a little fat in the pan. Pick each bacon strip up with a fork. Dip into batter made of other ingredients; fry in fat until brown.
