Orange Molded Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (8 1/2 oz.) can crushed pineapple (in syrup)
    6 oz. orange gelatin
    8 oz. whipped topping
    1 1/2 c. buttermilk
    1/4 c. pecans (optional)
Preparation
    Bring pineapple and syrup to a boil.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in gelatin.
    Cool to lukewarm.
    Stir in pecans.
    Fold in whipped topping and buttermilk.
    Pour in an 8-cup mold.
    Chill 4 hours or overnight.
