Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 to 20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (3.4 oz.) box instant pistachio pudding
    1/2 c. pecans
    1 (9 oz.) Cool Whip
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Drain the pineapple just a bit.
    Mix all ingredients in large bowl.
    Garnish with maraschino cherries, if desired.
    Sets up in the refrigerate almost immediately.
