Fried Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 ears fresh corn
    1/3 c. sugar
    salt
    3 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. flour
Preparation
    Place corn in pan; add 1 to 1 1/2 cups water.
    Stir in sugar, salt and bacon fat; cook until corn is tender.
    Beat egg well with beater; beat in flour.
    Thin mixture with 2 tablespoons water. Add to corn slowly, stirring.
    Cook 5 minutes.
