Sausage And Apple Overnight Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bulk sausage
    2 apples, cored and sliced
    9 slices bread, crusts removed and cut into cubes
    3/4 tsp. dry mustard
    9 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. (6 oz.) grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    3 c. milk
Preparation
    Fry the sausage in a skillet, breaking it up as you cook it, and drain on paper towels.
    Reserve the fat.
    Place the sausage in a lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish, or divide between two 1 1/2-quart casserole dishes.
    Saute apple slices in the sausage fat.
    Combine apples, bread cubes, mustard, egg, cheese and milk and mix well.
    Pour this
    mixture over the sausage; cover and refrigerate overnight.
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bake the casserole, covered, for 30 minutes.
    Uncover and bake another 30 minutes.
