Hungarian Country Breakfast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. bacon, cut into 1-inch pieces
    1 large onion, quartered and sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. paprika (maybe a little more later)
    5 or 6 medium potatoes, sliced
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Fry bacon pieces.
    Save about 1/3 cup drippings after removing bacon.
    Add salt, pepper and paprika to onion.
    Saute in drippings until tender.
    Add potatoes and stir gently with onion.
    Add 1 cup water and simmer on medium heat until potatoes are tender.
    Add bacon and mix gently.
    Simmer a little longer.
    You may need to add another 1/4 cup of water.
    This can be served alone or with eggs.
