Vegetable Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can cut asparagus, drained
    1 large can tiny peas, drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 large can sliced mushrooms, drained
    1 c. mild Cheddar, grated
    2 slices bread
    1/2 butter or margarine
Preparation
    Layer ingredients as listed.
    Tear bread into small chunks and place on top.
    Cover with melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until cheese melts and bread crumbs brown.
