Chocolate Angel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. plain flour
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1 1/2 c. egg whites
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Sift flour and measure; add cocoa and sift twice.
    Beat egg whites and salt until foamy; add cream of tartar and continue beating until stiff and peaks form; add flavoring while beating. Fold in sugar a little at a time.
    Fold in flour and cocoa mixture in the same way.
    Pour batter into an ungreased tube pan.
    Drop pan 3 to 4 times from a height of 6 inches to remove air pockets. Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from oven and invert pan onto a plate.
    Remove cake when cold.
