Sausage Cheese Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    dash of salt
    1 c. quick cooking grits
    4 oz. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 c. egg substitute or 4 eggs
    1 c. skim milk
    1 lb. (16 oz.) sausage, browned and drained
    vegetable cooking spray
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Coat 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray.
    Bring water and salt to a boil in a large saucepan. Slowly stir in grits.
    Cover, reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Stir in cheese and margarine until melted.
    Add egg substitute, milk and sausage; blend well.
    Pour mixture into prepared dish.
    Bake 1 hour or until set.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
