Herbed Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. uncooked long-grain rice
    1 c. chopped celery
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. water
    1 (2 to 2 1/2 oz.) pkg. dry chicken noodle soup mix
    2 Tbsp. parsley
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. sage
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    In large skillet, cook the rice, celery and onion in butter; stir constantly until rice browned.
    Stir in remaining ingredients; bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
    Remove from heat and let stand.
    Cover for 10 minutes.
