Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2/3 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1 Tbsp. lemon juice or vanilla
1 egg
3 1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Beat butter, sugar, corn syrup, lemon juice and eggs on medium until creamy.
Gradually add flour and salt.
Beat until well mixed.
Cover and chill about 20 minutes.
