Fettucini With Basil And Tomatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
    1 1/2 white onions
    2 cloves garlic, chopped
    3/4 c. fresh basil, chopped
    1/2 c. olive oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 lb. fettucini, cooked
    1 c. low-fat Cheddar cheese, grated
Preparation
    Mix tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, olive oil, salt and pepper.
    Let stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
    Drain the cooked fettucini.
    Toss with sauce.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
    Serve at once.
