Frosted Molasses Creams - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. strong hot coffee
    1 1/2 tsp baking powder
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/2 c. molasses
    1 egg
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp cloves
Preparation
    Cut 3 apples into small pieces.
    Add 1 c. sugar to them and 1/2 c. nuts.
    Beat 2 eggs add 1 c. flour, 1 tsp soda, 1/2 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp vanilla.
    Melt 3 Tbsp butter and add mixture.
    Spread into pan and bake for 25 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
