Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 to 10 apples
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    dash of cinnamon and nutmeg
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/2 box yellow cake mix
    1 stick margarine
Preparation
    Peel and slice apples.
    Place in a 9 x 13-inch dish; sprinkle 1/2 cup brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg over apples.
    Mix second 1/2 cup brown sugar, nuts and cake mix; sprinkle on top of apples. Cut up 1 stick margarine on top of mixture.
    Bake for 1 hour or longer at 325\u00b0.
