Sweet Potato Pie - cooking recipe

1 (18 oz.) can sweet potatoes
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 eggs
1 3/4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter, melted
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
6 oz. pecan halves
Preparation

Cook potatoes until tender.
Mash and measure 1 1/2 cups. Combine potatoes, sugar, cinnamon and salt.
Beat eggs slightly with fork. Stir eggs, milk and butter into potato mixture. Spoon into pastry shell.
Top with nuts. Sprinkle top with butter and sugar.
Bake at 400\u00b0 until done, 45 to 50 minutes.
