Pecan Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 lb. sugar (2 c.)
6 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
4 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/4 lb. candied cherries
1/4 lb. candied pineapple
1 lb. pecans
1 lb. white raisins
Preparation

Cream butter; add sugar gradually.
Add beaten eggs, one at a time.
Sift flour with baking powder.
Dredge fruit with part of it.
Add flavoring, then fold in flour.
Add nuts and fruit last. Bake in loaf pan in slow oven at 300\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes.
