Date Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. Crisco
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 slightly beaten eggs
    1 c. canned milk
    1 c. cut dates
Preparation
    Cream Criso, sugar and salt until light and fluffy.
    Stir in eggs.
    Add milk.
    Stir in dates.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell and bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes; then 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes longer. Serve plain or with whipped topping.
