Potato Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium cubed potatoes
1 large onion
2 Tbsp. butter
1/8 tsp. thyme
1 c. water
1 tsp. salt
3 c. milk
Preparation

In 3 quart saucepan over medium heat cook onion in butter and thyme until tender.
Stir in potatoes, water and salt.
Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer 20 minutes or until tender.
Beat mixture with beater until smooth.
Gradually add milk.
Heat just to boiling.
Makes 5 cups.
