Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. onions, thinly sliced
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    2 lb. beef, cut in cubes
    1 Tbsp. paprika
    1/2 Tbsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 qt. water
    3/4 lb. noodles
Preparation
    Saute onions in butter or margarine about 5 minutes.
    Add beef and rest of ingredients.
    Simmer, covered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
