Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 stick margarine
1/2 c. Crisco
2 eggs
2 c. flour (plain)
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening together. Add eggs and beat well, then add vanilla. Mix baking powder, salt and flour together. Add milk and flour, small amounts at a time of each; do not beat much after putting flour in. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
