Dump Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. pecan pieces
    1 can cherry pie filling
    2 (No. 2) cans crushed pineapple
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1/4 lb. (1 stick) butter or margarine
Preparation
    Dump in a greased 9 x 12-inch baking pan in the order listed, covering the top with dots of butter. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
