Ingredients

4 lb. okra
8 c. pure vinegar
10 pods hot pepper
10 garlic cloves
3/4 c. plain salt
1 c. water
Preparation

Wash okra; pack in jars.
Put 1 pepper and 1 clove garlic in each jar.
Heat vinegar, water and salt to boiling.
Celery seed or mustard seed may be added for flavor.
Pour liquid over okra; fill and seal.
Don't use for 8 weeks.
