La Porte Hot Chicken Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. chicken, cut into pieces after cooking (4 double breasts)
    1/2 c. finely chopped celery
    1 small can mushrooms (4 oz.)
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
    1/2 can water chestnuts, cut in half
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    3/4 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 c. rice, cooked in chicken broth from chicken pieces
    1/2 c. shredded carrots
Preparation
    Mix salad dressing and lemon juice.
    Add all the ingredients together.
    Pour into a greased 2-quart casserole; top with crushed potato chips.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Serve hot.
