Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

3 egg whites
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 drop almond extract
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chopped nuts
19 crushed Ritz crackers
Preparation

Beat the egg whites stiff and add the sugar, vanilla and almond extracts, baking powder and chopped nuts. Fold in the crushed Ritz crackers. Bake in a well-greased 9-inch pie pan for 30 minutes at 300\u00b0. Top with ice cream or whipped cream.
