Pear Or Apple Butter - cooking recipe
Ingredients

16 c. cooked, drained and mashed pears or apples
1 c. vinegar
8 c. sugar (more if want sweeter)
4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Cook 1 1/2 hours, stirring constantly to keep from sticking. Place in jars and seal.
Can cook less time if thick enough.
