Spiced Beets - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1 Tbsp. white mustard seed
    1 tsp. allspice
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cloves
Preparation
    Cook beets until partly done, peel and slice.
    Put into pickle mixture and simmer a few minutes.
    Pour into jars and seal.
