Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3/4 c. grated carrots
1/2 c. grated onion
3/4 c. chopped celery (very fine)
1 c. grated potatoes
1 stick oleo
1/2 c. flour
1 qt. chicken broth (two 14 oz. Swanson broth)
1 qt. milk
1 tsp. soda
1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cut into chunks
Preparation

In heavy pan, melt oleo. Add veggies and saute (covered) over low heat until tender. Do not burn. Add 1/2 cup flour. Stir in gradually. Add chicken broth. Cook and stir until thickened slightly. Add milk gradually and bring to simmer. Add soda and cheese. DO NOT BOIL. Cook awhile stirring until cheese melts.
