Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    2/3 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. lard
    3/4 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Cut in lard.
    Add milk all at once. Knead lightly; roll out 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut out and place on greased baking pan.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
    Brush top with melted butter.
    Serve hot.
    Makes 12 (2-inch) biscuits.
