Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. hot water
    2 c. flour
    2 level tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. ginger
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. allspice
Preparation
    Beat all together the sugar, molasses, shortening and eggs until creamy.
    Add water.
    Sift all dry ingredients together and add last.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until done.
