Cranberry Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. cranberries, cut in half or wide sliced in processor
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
4 c. shortening
1 egg
3/4 c. orange juice or crushed pineapple
2 Tbsp. orange rind
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients and cut in shortening.
Combine orange juice and rind or crushed pineapple (small can) and beaten egg; pour over dry mixture.
Stir to dampen and fold in cranberries and nuts.
Bake in greased loaf pan for 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
