Pineapple Upside-Down Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (20 oz.) can pineapple slices
    1/2 jar maraschino cherries
    6 oz. whole pecans
    1 c. brown sugar (packed)
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 standard cake mix (use your favorite: white, spice, pineapple flavored, etc.)
Preparation
    Drain pineapple and reserve liquid.
    Cut pineapple slices in half.
    Drain cherries and cut in half.
    Pat fruit with paper towel to make sure they are drained well.
