Refrigerator Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    3/4 c. milk, scalded
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 egg
Preparation
    Soften the yeast in warm water. Combine milk, shortening, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm. Add 1 cup flour. Beat well. Beat in yeast mixture and egg. Add remaining flour; mix well. Place in greased bowl and cover. Store in refrigerator for 2 hours or until needed. Shape roll 1 1/2 to 2 hours before serving. Roll out, shape and let rise.
    Cook in 400\u00b0 oven for 12 to 15 minutes.
