Julie'S Caesar Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 clove minced or chopped garlic
    6 slices French bread, cut into cubes
    1 large head romaine lettuce, cleaned and torn
    2/3 c. freshly grated Parmesan
    1 1/2 tsp. cracked pepper
    1/2 c. olive oil
    1 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. anchovy paste
    1 tsp. Dijon mustard
    1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 tsp. hot sauce
    1 clove minced garlic
Preparation
    Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat, add 1 tablespoon olive oil and garlic.
    Add bread cubes and saute 3 to 5 minutes or until browned to taste.
    Remove and set aside.
    Combine lettuce, cheese and pepper in a large bowl and toss.
    Combine 1/2 cup olive oil and remaining ingredients in a jar, cover tightly and shake well to blend.
    Pour desired amount (makes more than you need) over lettuce and toss to coat.
    Add croutons and toss gently.
    Serve immediately.
