Tomato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bushel tomatoes
    6 lb. onions
    2 stalks celery
    4 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    2 pods red peppers or about 1 Tbsp., crushed
    4 c. sugar
    2 c. cornstarch
    1 c. salt
    2 c. butter
Preparation
    Cut celery and onions.
    Add pepper and bring to boil.
    Add quartered tomatoes.
    Cook until tender and strain.
    Return to pot and add remainder of ingredients.
    Bring to a hard boil.
    Boil about 5 to 10 minutes. Put in cans or jars.
