Oven Crisp Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 1/2 lb. chicken (broiler-fryer)
    2 envelopes onion soup mix
    1 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine soup mix, bread crumbs, salt and pepper in a paper bag.
    Shake chicken pieces, a few at a time, in the mixture to coat well.
    Place, not touching, in a single layer in a lightly oiled shallow baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until chicken is tender and richly browned.
