Amaretto-Chocolate Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. whipping cream
    1/3 c. sugar
    2 (4 oz.) bittersweet chocolate bars, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 to 4 Tbsp. Amaretto
    fresh strawberries for garnish
    4 egg yolks
    1/2 c. light brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 heavy (whipping) cream
    1 Tbsp. bourbon
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 1/2 to 2 c. toasted pecans
Preparation
    Combine egg yolks, sugar and butter in a heavy saucepan over low heat.
    Stir until well blended.
    Add cream, bourbon and vanilla.
    Bring mixture just to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; stir in pecans.
    Refrigerate until ready to use.
    Reheat to serve over slices of pound cake.
