Rice Pilaf - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter
1/4 to 1/2 finely chopped scallions
1/2 tsp. finely chopped garlic
1/2 c. very thin egg noodles
1 c. raw rice
2 c. chicken broth (more than 1 can)
Preparation

Melt butter in pan. Add scallions and garlic and cook briefly. Add noodles and cook over low heat for 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Bring broth to full boil in separate pan and add to the rice mixture. Cover tightly and simmer for 35 minutes. Do not stir or remove lid. Remove from heat. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
