Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick margarine
    1 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    For brownies, mix flour, sugar, and salt. In saucepan put margarine, water, and cocoa. Bring to a boil and pour over flour mixture and stir. Beat egg. Add buttermilk and baking soda. Add to flour mixture. Add vanilla. Bake in 12 x 9-inch shallow pan that is well greased and floured. Bake 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. While cake is hot, frost it with icing. When slightly cool cut into squares.
