Al Kelley'S S.O.S - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 stick margarine
    12 oz. American sliced cheese
    3 Tbsp. flour
    3 c. milk
Preparation
    Cook beef in frypan; drain off excess fat and set aside.
    Melt margarine in saucepan.
    Blend 3 tablespoons flour and milk until smooth; blend with the melted margarine.
    Add 6 or 7 ounces cheese, in strips, to milk sauce over low heat until smooth.
    Add more cheese or milk to control sauce consistency.
    Add cooked beef to cheese sauce and mix well.
    Serve over toast.
    Can add pepper, onion powder or garlic powder to taste.
    Serves 6.
