Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. dry yeast (not fast active)
    1 c. Crisco
    5 c. Southern Biscuit self-rising flour
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. buttermilk
    4 Tbsp. lukewarm water
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water.
    Sift dry ingredients and cut in the shortening.
    Add yeast and buttermilk.
    Cover and place in refrigerator overnight.
    Take out and knead enough to hold together.
    Roll dough into 1/2-inch thickness and cut with biscuit cutter.
    Place in pan.
    Let rise for approximately 4 hours at room temperature.
    Makes 3 dozen.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
