Christmas Cake Or Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. raisins
2 c. sugar
2 c. water
3/4 c. Crisco
3 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
cloves/nutmeg

Preparation

Boil the first 4 ingredients together for 5 minutes; cool. After mixture cools, add last 4 ingredients and mix well.
Bake in greased pan for 35 minutes (or until done) at 350\u00b0.
