Scalloped Apples - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. soft bread crumbs (6 slices)
3/4 stick butter
6 apples, peeled and sliced thin (or 1 can pie apples)
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Mix sugar and seasonings; pour over apples.
Stir well and put in a casserole dish.
Mix bread crumbs with melted butter and put on top of apples.
Bake in a moderate oven about 40 minutes, until crumbs are brown and apples are bubbly.
