White Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    2 c. cake flour
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    4 c. broken pecans
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition. Mix small amount of flour into fruit and nut mixture; toss to coat and set aside. Add remaining flour to egg mixture. Stir in flavoring. Fold in fruits and nuts. Bake at 225\u00b0 for 2 hours.
